Behind the Brand
Chance Bar is a small and intimate dining setting. It is casual with an array of options for the adventurous or classic eater. Our menu is thoughtful and seasonal. With eclectic and approachable beer and wine offerings, Chance Bar is perfect for special occasions or a casual night out with friends and family. The bar rail is ideal to try a new wine or have an old favorite with a small plate or a snack. Full-service dining is also available at the bar, in our lounge, and on our outdoor patio. Corey and Amy Bowers have decided to plant their roots here in the Summit City, their hometown. The couple spent 8 years in Chicago, working in an assortment of restaurants, mainly at the Michelin-recommended HB Home Bistro for 5 years. Chance Bar is Corey's opportunity to share his Love of cooking and allow free origination of dishes. He enjoys playfulness in his cooking, offering classic preparation with whimsy. Corey has been cooking for upwards of 15 years. He worked in Bloomington, Indiana, at Nick's English Hut and Restaurant Tallent. He is trained in classic French technique and utilizes a variety of flavors from Europe, North-Africa, The Mediterranean and The Middle East.
